Le parole del Ministro Gelmini non condivise dai docenti del sud

TRINITAPOLI..:: In questi giorni di inizio anno
scolastico, ovvero di completamento dell’anno scolastico 2007/08, piove
grandine sulla formazione e preparazione culturale dei docenti di tutte le
scuole del centro sud.
Fare il Ministro è una cosa “seria” così come lo è “insegnare” agli alunni e
studenti. Ognuno deve fare il proprio compito altrimenti si cade in un
circolo vizioso. Proprio in questo circolo è caduta la Gelmini, che, a
quanto sembra, non si è espressa proprio bene, tant’è che Il Messaggero
titolava: Gelmini: «Corsi intensivi per gli insegnanti del sud: abbassano la
qualità dell’istruzione» ed ancora: Gelmini: «Aiuterò le scuole del Sud, il
divario con il Nord va colmato».
Il Corriere della Sera appariva un titolo del genere: «Scontro sui prof del
Sud, Gelmini frena». Il sottotitolo è: «Polemiche per le parole del
ministro, che ribatte: mi riferivo alle scuole, non agli insegnanti».
Ed ancora, il comunicato dell’ASCA parla in questi termini: «SCUOLA: E’
scontro sui prof del sud, Gelmini, colmerò gap con il Nord».
Questo sono alcuni titoli dei giornali, ma per i più appassionati, vi è
sempre la “rete” come punto di riferimento con centinaia di titoli ed
altrettanti blog sparsi qua e là nella “rete”.
In un comunicato stampa del 24 agosto anche Francesco Boccia, deputato Pd,
sottolinea che se è vero quello che scrivono i giornali, "Un corso di
formazione dovrebbe seguirlo al più presto un Ministro che dimostra
un'imbarazzante ignoranza sui principi costituzionali più elementari".
Boccia, deputato del Pd ed economista meridionale che da sempre insegna
all’Università Cattaneo in provincia di Varese sottolinea che "Se le
dichiarazioni del Ministro Gelmini riportate da Repubblica sono confermate
sulla presunta necessità di far studiare solo gli insegnanti delle scuole
del Sud perché abbasserebbero il livello della scuola italiana, saremmo di
fronte a una valutazione gravissima di un rappresentante del Governo. La
formazione agli insegnanti è utile ogni giorno e in qualunque luogo del
Paese".
Ed ancora, "Siamo di fronte a una discriminazione senza precedenti basata
sul certificato di nascita. Dal Ministro Gelmini ci aspettiamo
immediatamente chiarimenti su quali basi scientifiche e statistiche faccia
queste valutazione, visto che buona parte degli insegnanti del nord sono
nati e cresciuti in regioni del Mezzogiorno. È la prima volta nella storia
della Repubblica che un Ministro – continua Francesco Boccia – arriva a
definire le differenze di preparazione culturale in relazione alla regione
di provenienza. Personalmente ho trovato insegnanti eccellenti del sud al
nord e del nord al sud. L'Italia ha, per sua fortuna una classe di docenti
che, nonostante l'assenza dello Stato e le scarse risorse disponibili,
assicura un servizio indispensabile ai bambini e ai ragazzi italiani".
Da parte nostra, questo doveva essere un “buon inizio d’anno” ma a quanto
sembra dall’alto cade “grandine”. Ci auguriamo che tra tanta grandine vi sia
qualche zero in più nel prossimo stipendio e che una buona volta, gli
stipendi degli insegnanti italiani vengano equiparati realmente a quelli
degli altri Paesi Europei.
